A Right Royal Invitation to Tea

A Right Royal Invitation to Tea

Ever wanted to take tea with the Queen?

Well at the Museum’s annual Victorian weekend you can do just that – joining her Royal Majesty Queen Victoria for a sumptuous high tea, preceded by lessons in royal etiquette plus a personal audience with our esteemed monarch in the parlour.

Her Majesty will be hosting afternoon tea on both Saturday and Sunday, and there’s a host of other Victorian-themed attractions to enjoy both before and after.

Tickets for the majesterial event are strictly limited to 16 per sitting and cost £12.50 a head.

Phone the Museum on 01908 316222 to book and pay for your spot at the royal table.

Here’s what one of our visitors had to say on TripAdvisor after last year’s event:

“We booked the Queen Victoria experience as a treat for visiting Grandparents who had not been to the museum before and it was a resounding success. The Museum team stayed in character perfectly and Her Majesty was dignified, regal and commanding. We enjoyed the etiquette lesson and my daughters aged 8 and 4 perfected their curtseys before our private audience with Queen Victoria.  The afternoon tea was very reasonably priced and so delicious – and the conversation between the Queen and her staff during tea was highly entertaining. My in laws were unsure what to expect but could not praise the day enough.”
