Spring half-term February 2017

Spring half-term February 2017

making toast the old fashioned waySpring into action at half term when Milton Keynes Museum hosts five days of holiday activities geared to young visitors.

During the school spring half term we’ve got a host of special attractions as well as all the usual demonstrations, displays, and dozens of fun things to do

Extraordinary science experiments with Professor Beamish, fascinating magic lantern shows, and the chance to make your own peg doll are among the attractions. Plus we’ll be joined on Friday 18th by the RSPB all day.

And of course all your hands-on favourites will  also be available: playing music the way the Victorians did, attending classes in the Victorian schoolroom, making hot buttered toast over the range, brass-rubbing, taking a seat in the stocks,  sending morse code and much, much more.

As usual, our granary cafe will be providing delicious affordable goodies to keep energy levels up.

The Museum is open from 11am-4.30pm every day during half-term. Professor Beamish can be seen at 11.15, 12.15, 2,3 and 4 Monday through to Friday. Our magic lantern shows take place 11.30, 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30 on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri.
