Take tea with a Queen

Take tea with a Queen

VictoriaTickets for a very special tea party at Milton Keynes Museum have gone on sale.

During the Museum’s fantastic Victorian weekend Her Majesty Queen Victoria is offering a private audience to a few of her most loyal subjects.

The experience starts at 2:30 in the  Museum’s Music Room where the Queen’s Butler and Lady of the Robes, the Countess of Buccleuch, will brief guests on the etiquette of taking tea with her Majesty.

Her Majesty will then grant an individual audience in the Parlour to each of her guests – after which the party will move to our marquee for the serious business of enjoying a private Royal Afternoon Tea of sandwiches, fresh cream scones and dainty cakes.

While we love our younger visitors, this event involves some listening and is therefore best suited to adults – or very well-behaved young subjects. Please note entrance to the Museum involves an extra charge.
