You’ll usually find a fire waiting to warm you in our farmhouse kitchen, where children can make their own hot buttered toast using a toasting fork. Edwardian kitchens were the heart of homes and had to be large to accommodate the vast array of equipment it took to feed the family before the days of microwaves and ready meals. Can you guess what everything was used for?
