“A great place”

This museum is a gem. Fascinating, Interactive, Unexpected. My 5 year old daughter went on a school trip and talked about nothing else until we went back so should could show us around. Matt P.

 “Sensational”

After going to the Living Museum in Dudley the week before, which we found disappointing, we were thrilled to bits. This place is brilliant & the volunteer staff amazing. Mike B

 “Great place”

It’s the best museum that we’ve been to in terms of “hands on” stuff.  I had to drag my 5 children out the Connected Earth gallery after about two hours because I was desperate for lunch by 3pm! Jon S

“Amazing – make a day of it”

Give yourself plenty of time to visit this gem in MK. £22 for 2 adults & 4 children is a bargain.visitor from Bedford

 “Excellent”

I love MK Museum and so do my children. I love the fact that the exhibits aren’t hidden behind glass or ropes and the telephone room is genius. We go back time and time again and find something new every time. ‘beevoring’

“Utterly fantastic”

One of the best museums I’ve been to. A look back in time that appeals to adults and children alike that includes wartime England, street of old time shops, a old world kitchen (including proper toasting). We spent over 4 hours here with a 2 years old, a 7 and a 10 year old. Put it on your list. Al, Letchworth

“Great family day out”

I visited the museum with my 8 year old daughter & my parents. From start to finish we had a fantastic time.  My daughter loved making toast in front of the fire & the men in the phone exchange went out of their way to make sure she enjoyed it, they encouraged her to use the phones & showed her how to work the switchboard. The ladies in the tearoom were lovely too & the food was delicious! Being able to touch lots of the exhibits really makes a difference instead of having them behind a glass screen & just looking at them. I highly recommend a visit here & we will certainly be returning! ‘rdez’, Aylesbury

“Top notch”

Take the kids to the WW2 air raid shelter and let them experience the sounds and way we existed then. Walk them through the old shopping street full of products etc that you will remember (if you are 60 or over). Brilliant place and entrance fee is very reasonable. ‘Grandad’ from Winslow

“You can’t get the kids out”

“What a great place”

Called in here by accident but what a find. Very hands on for the kids and a serious walk down memory lane for us. From the old pianola to the toasting fork in the kitchen and then onto the telephone exchange, which as an ex telephone engineer was my hubby’s favourite, it was really interesting. Will hopefully be back for another visit in the not to distant future. Helen from Newport

“Brilliant day out”

I visited this museum with a group. Our guide Iain was very knowledgeable and gave a very entertaining and interesting tour. There is so much to see and it’s great to be able to touch and play with some of the exhibits. The café is lovely and worth a visit! I would definitely recommend this museum for all ages. Heidi from Aylesbury

“Great Day Out with the children”

What an amazing museum – you could be there for hours! Great value with space for the children to run about too.  Natalie from Aylesbury

“So interesting”

Took my youngest son age 10 for the first time, We both had a great time. So interesting and the volunteers were incredibly helpful. We especially enjoyed all the telephones and communication section. It made me feel old.  Nicki W
